Summer Trainee - Test Automation Engineer

Daily activities

You will be daily responsible for supporting activities related to software automation testing, regression, writing scripts in TTCN or Python language and support project team to keep software testing quality in good shape. Summer Trainee will act under guidance on specified competence area that may include thesis-related work. You will be working in tasks-oriented projects.

• GIT, SVN, Linux, Jira
• Telecommunication: 2G/3G/4G/5G
• Agile oriented testing methodologies
• scripting languages (TTCN, Python, bash)

Your skills and experience:

• Student after 2nd year of Bachelor or Engineer degree studies in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Technology or equivalent education
• Familiarity with Python coding principles and good practices
• Basic experience Continuous Integration systems with CI tools (using i.e., Jenkins, Team City, Bamboo)
• Basic experience in working with software versioning and revision control systems (GIT, SVN)
• Basic experience in TDD methodology
• Practical experience in working on Linux OS using terminal
• Experience in writing scripts in Python IDEs (i.e., PyCharm, PyScripter, PyDev, vim)
• As advantage - good knowledge in TTCN scripting language, expertise in TCP/IP programming, IP networks, good knowledge in SW testing techniques and methodologies
• Analytical thinking
• Teamwork skills, openminded, ready to ask questions, cooperativeness
• Good communication in English (both written and spoken)
• Ready to relocate to Wroclaw, living in or nearby
