The team you’ll be part of

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

As a Test Automation Developer, you will become a part of NOKIA Regional Engineering Delivery team. Our interns are involved in challenging projects, which enable them to use their technical skills, gain great experience by learning our innovative solutions and acquiring new programming skills.

Optimizing the process of validation and testing of optical transmission solutions through standardization and automation is one of the pillars and tasks of the Regional Engineering Delivery team. One of RED's tasks is to implement the system of automatic execution and verification of test results to increase the credibility and quality of our optical solutions.

Summer Trainee internship is dedicated to candidates with active student status. The internship usually starts on July 1st and ends on 30th of September.

What you will learn and contribute to

Are you passionate about solving problems?

As part of our team, you will:

• Create an automation framework and test cases for optical solutions
• Develop and maintain test cases and test environment
• Maintain test documentation in English

Your skills and experience

You have knowledge in:

• Robot Framework (incl. Selenium Library)
• Python 3.7+ (junior)
• Understanding of software testing purpose

It would be nice if you also had:

• Basic TestLink or other TCMS
• Basic HTML
• Understanding of DOM
• Basic Linux (bash)
• Git
• Pytest
