The team you’ll be part of
We offer you a great opportunity to grow with us! At Slabs, we maintain training and test equipment from different technology areas including the newest radio and cloud products. We are responsible of maintaining the test lines end-to-end, including planning, preparing, documenting, and sharing with users. We are currently working on transforming these tasks in more automated way. In Slabs, you will have opportunity to work with variety of products and cooperate with great people.
Summer Trainee internship is dedicated to candidates with active student status. The internship usually starts on July 1st and ends on 30th of September.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Maintain physical and virtual lab assets for multiple labs using modern open-source tools
- Document and maintain our internal IP networking, including IP address and VLAN information
- Write scripts to support the lab equipment and processes
- Interact with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation and improvement ideas
- Be engaged into tasks in the area of information architecture, graphics editing, documentation tools maintenance, processes automation dependent on your skills
Your skills and experience
- Min. 1-2 years of academic background
- Major in computer science or telecommunications
- Linux environment knowledge
- Ability to gather and synthesize technical information
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently
- Team-player attitude
- Good spoken and written English (enough to understand tools & documentation)
- IPv4, IPv6, routing protocols knowledge would be the advantage
You will work with:
- Tools: Netbox, Gitlab, Jira, Ansible, LibreNMS
- Programming languages: Python
- Network devices like core/edge routers, access switches
- Operating systems: Linux, Windows

- Next generation technologies, like 5G and cloud platforms
