Summer Trainee – DSP Embedded Engineer

The team you’ll be part of

Mobile Networks is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN). There are a few slightly different departments possibly interested in your experience.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team you will contribute to our telecommunication projects. Your daily activities will be related to embedded systems development (RTL, formal and functional verification, processes automation). You will act as a team member of a team that creates inhouse Nokia UE simulator. 

You will develop knowledge of system physical layer, embedded Linux platform, gain experience in product development. 

Your skills and experience

You have:

• Active student status in: Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electronics or a similar subject  
• Good mathematical skills 
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills 
• Good communication in English (both written and spoken) 
• Good understanding of technical documentation 
• Team player spirit

• Embedded HW products, implementation physical layer telco specification using DSP 
• DSP programming using C language 
• C/C++/Python/bash
