The Position:

HID Global is growing in Krakow (Zabierzów), and we are currently looking for an intern - student for paid 14-week internship. HID Global is currently looking for an intern to join our Secure Issuance (SI) Team and be part of our successful journey. During your internship you will work with our Engineers and get the opportunity to learn from the highly qualified staff. We expect you to support our software engineers with all aspects of development and quality control. As part of the team, you will contribute to work required to successfully release a product, including assistance in: development of ID Card specialisation software (C#), database operations (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Mysql, Access), usage of mercurial/bitbucket, WinForms/WPF, NUnit . We expect you to share our agile values, be motivated, focused, take initiative, and remain eager to learn. You will work as part of a team and independently.

Some of your tasks will include:

• Support software development in C#
• Support flow of continuous delivery
• Database development

What we are looking for:

• Active student status
• Availability to work minimum 20h per week, for at least 14 weeks
• Very good English, both written and spoken - because you'll be working in a multinational environment
• Proficiency in any Object-Oriented Programing (C#)
• Practical knowledge about databases.
• Readiness to acquire knowledge
