Revenue Control – Trainee

OUR INTERNSHIP: Our full cycle is 12 months, paid, real.

Students and graduates who intern with us will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the work, and to support the Financial Operations department in their daily work.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

You will be part of a team, working closely with the Revenue Control management to ensure the smooth running of the operations. Revenue Control is responsible for monitoring daily trading results and its components like hedging broker costs, introducing brokers rebates, sales traders’ rewards, and other controlling functions. This position will give you an opportunity to check your data mining skills as well as OTC product knowledge. If you are passionate about financial markets then this is a place, to begin with, your career.

YOU WILL LEARN MORE ABOUT:

This role will include helping to develop and improve systems and controls around these operations. You will use a variety of IG proprietary systems, SQL and Microsoft Excel as part of your daily routine. You will be required to liaise with internal staff to resolve queries and to make system/control improvements.  This role offers good opportunities to develop in other areas of the wider finance function and to build strong relationships with revenue control, commercial finance, dealing desk and IT.

WHAT YOU SHOULD CONTRIBUTE WITH:

• Microsoft Excel skills (Intermediate/Advanced level) and SQL
• Fluent English
• Ambitious attitude researching and resolving problems/issues
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a demanding environment
• Attention to detail, meeting regular deadlines, taking ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Be a graduate or in your final year of studies
• Be eligible to work in Poland
