The team you'll be part of

Nokia are looking for exceptional candidates to join its RAN Product Line Management graduate scheme, starting in October 2022. The intent to develop these candidates into tomorrow’s business leaders.

RAN Product Line Management (PLM) is part of the Mobile Networks (MN) division of Nokia. MN is responsible for all aspects of mobile access networks covering a wide range of hardware, software, network management, site solutions and microwave backhaul. It covers product management, business management, sales and marketing disciplines and is responsible for ensuring that we have the right RAN capabilities being made available at the right time which are brought to market in a way that the sales teams can sell them effectively and our customers can take advantage of them to drive their business. 

We are looking for individuals who not only have the technical knowledge around mobile access networks, but also have the interpersonal and communications skills to bring that knowledge to bear in a fast moving and complex market, recognising that success is not only a matter of technology. As part of the programme, the graduates will cycle through different roles over a two-year period to gain a wide knowledge of the product environment in a way that develops both their technical and non-technical skills. At the end of the two-year period they will move into an ongoing role.

What you will learn and contribute to

Our team is defining backlogs for all our using various tools. We are targeting to full automation of the backlog management process.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Be building state of the art tooling for backlog management
  • Developing the automation of the requirement management process
  • Developing reporting 

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Knowledge on backlog management tools, PowerBI and advanced Excel skills
  • Understanding of product lifecycle management processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with geographically distributed teams

It would be nice if you also had:

  • A ’can – do’ mindset that can focus on delivering defined objectives
  • A good understanding of Mobile Network technology and the telecommunications ecosystem
  • A team player with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • The ability to work autonomously and independently within the team environment
  • The ability to understand complex issues and propose innovative solutions
  • A strong eye for detail and the provision of high quality deliverables
  • Comfortable with flexible working methods and environments
  • University Master’s degree or equivalent
  • Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong capability in Microsoft Office tools
