PHP Developer

Tasks

• developing RESTful APIs, Microservices and web applications in PHP, using the Laravel Framework
• developing new features and improving existing ones
• participating in defining requirements
• participating in code review
• taking part in designing new solutions and proposing your own ideas
• cooperating with project managers, developers, testers and customers to increase application quality

Must have

• 2+ years of PHP language experience
• experience with any PHP framework i.e. Laravel (preferred), Symfony, Zend etc.
• experience with developing REST APIs
• knowledge of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• ability to write unit and functional tests
• habit of writing clear, understandable, maintainable and testable code
• understanding of software design patterns
• understanding of HTTP protocol
• experience with version control system (GIT with GitFlow)
• experience with Unix type systems (Mac, Linux)
• familiarity with Agile software development
• very good command of written and spoken English (min. B2 level)
• strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have

• being open to learn other technologies
• understanding of Microservices architecture
• experience with the Laravel 5+ Framework
• experience with the AWS
• basic knowledge about ElasticSearch
• basic knowledge about GraphQL
• familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields

8,700 - 11,700 PLN net B2B or 7,200 - 9,800 PLN gross CoE
