Lab Logistics Support - Working Student

Global R&D Laboratories organization is looking for Logistics Project Support, Working Student for Laboratory Operations team in Wroclaw. You will be working closely with a local Laboratory team and cooperating with the lab teams in other countries at 18 sites. As part of our team, You will be responsible for planning, executing, and coordinating activities in the areas of laboratory logistics and finance. You will solve complex delivery chain problems and coach other team members in handling complex logistic / financial cases. Your scope of duties will include participating in reviews of your own or neighboring projects, liaising with internal customers, acting as an interface to Business Lines as well as to the external partners. You may also undertake technical training responsibilities.

We work with:

• Customs issues like customs duties, VAT, cooperation with external Customs Agencies
• ECCN procedure (cooperation with internal and external partners, ABW reporting)
• Import/ export issues
• Transport companies locally and across the world

Our expectations:

• status of student of Logistics or Finance or equivalent education
• experience in logistics matters coordination and related financial aspects
• ability to closely cooperate with external suppliers and sub-contractors
• knowledge of Incoterms
• ability to work independently and under time pressure
• willingness to promote certain level of work standards (e.g. documentation)
• familiar with Microsoft Office
• disciplined and focused on details
• good communication skills and ability to maintain high standards in challenging situations
• problem-solving mind
• initiative-orientated person
• good communication in English (both written and spoken)
• experience with Agile Service Delivery or ITIL will be an advantage
