Junior Procurement Specialist with German

We are currently looking for communicative and open person with good German, for support our local entities with purchasing on German market. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to develop in many ways. Not only your teamwork skills on initiatives and projects, but also your negotiation skills, communication in German language and getting to know the market. We work with extremely nice colleagues in our local units in Germany. What You Will Be Doing

• Perform the daily transactional activities, to meet the aligned SLA/KPIs/measurement
• Follow the up-to-date operational procedures, adherence to the standardized process landscape
• Participate in the implementation of quality / continuous improvement projects (Lean Event) and be active in driving daily huddle meetings
• Support and initiate process improvement initiatives and related projects, be proactive and creative on contributing ideas for service improvement
• Maintain positive work relationship with members of other teams in and outside of the SSC to whom information is provided or from whom information is gathered
• Assist in establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and ensure customer satisfaction
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisor

What We Need

• Willingness to work full-time or part-time (at least 3/4 FTE)
• Last year student in Business Administration or Economics Sciences
• Willingness to gain knowlegde in the area international shipping/forwarding/trade
• Interest in the purchasing process
• Knowledge of SAP - nice to have
• Excel, Word, Outlook – working competency
• Highly developed interpersonal skills: being communicative and team-oriented person
• Strong motivation to work in a complex organization focused on result and achievement
• Customer centricity to identifying and understanding customer needs
• Language skills:
• Good in written and spoken English (B2)
• Good in written and spoken German (B2)
