The team you’ll part of 

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN). 

You will be joining other talented telecom engineers in our Shared Reference Network team to provide excellent mobile network environment for 4G and 5G E2E R&D testing. Coordinate activities within own responsibility area. Coach other team members in solving engineering problems. Solve complex engineering problems of own technology area. Typically participate in reviews of own or neighboring projects. May undertake technical training responsibilities. Work with internal customer being an interface to Business Line. Your scope of work will include daily cooperation with technical leaders/specialists in planning activities.

• Bash and Python
• SRAN, NSW, ION, LTE and 5G Business Lines etc.

What you will learn and contribute to  

• Learn to work on Nokia Core/Radio products
• Learn to work cloud nodes like CBIS/OCP
• Learn to work on JIRA ticketing system
• Contribute towards preliminary support for regular ticket operation, KPI etc.
• Contribute towards teamwork flow, process, innovation, and quality

Your skills and experience

You have:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent education
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
• Analytical approach to problem solving and ability to learn quickly
• Drive to deliver results, “get things done” attitude

It would be nice if you also had: 

• Knowledge on 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G architecture will be plus
• IP Networking knowledge is a big plus - CCNA or equivalent knowledge
