Global Procurement FP&A Analyst

Job Description

PepsiCo is looking for a Business Partner for Global Procurement Finance Team. The role of Business Partner is a central point for data collection, validation and reporting, which has a vast span throughout the organization at various levels. Multiple requests are channeled through this role on regular basis for rPET analytics and reporting (each, with a varying degree of complexity). Another major contribution of this role is working closely with the Sustainability team to ensure an adherence to the company-wide commitment to reduce plastics (Glidepath).
In this role you will be a single point of contact for any such requests with a clear responsibility for coordination and alignment, whilst the processes are still new and evolving. Subsequent forecasts provided can impact Business Units financials and can impact decisions making.
You will be also providing support and counseling to respective Senior Directors and Purchasing Managers in Rigids and Sweeteners teams in advancement of these programs from GP standpoint or for any ad hoc analysis.
Responsibilities:

Providing forecasts by means of validating input data on material pricing, volumes, commodity changes, coverage (for tracked materials), market specific trends, etc.

Reviewing and validating productivity project proposals with recommendation of projects to be brought forward. It includes oversight to ensure all such projects meet appropriate guidelines and compliance with the GP-established productivity framework.

Cooperating with stakeholders across Finance Planning function in the Sugar Reduction program, coordination of data collection and validation for the program.

Supporting work in Raw Materials which includes forecasting, analysis of actuals for all the respective materials.

Providing rolling monthly forecasts along main planning stances. This entails collecting, processing, analyzing and interpreting complex financial data in order to identify main drivers and a COC explanations.

Liaising with PepsiCo New York Treasury and ALU COE to provide valuable input for the Aluminum hedging program to minimize risk of commodity price volatility to all Beverage BUs in Europe.

Collecting actual prices from the BUs and facilitate financial analysis of the material price variances. Partner and facilitate the alignment processes between Supply Chain Finance and GP Category Purchasing leads (eg. Volume sourcing/Capacity discussions).

Initial responsibilities in this role are focused on the knowledge capture. It will take up to several months to transition the know-how into our Krakow center, until the actual delivery will start.
In that time, you will have a direct exposure to the business unit or sector processes focusing on those that you will become responsible for ; you will cooperate closely with key stakeholders to shape the service model; and we encourage you to identify, design, and document improvement solutions. On top of that, you will build business relationships, and pioneer the new way of working at our Krakow center.

Qualifications/Requirements

At least 5 years of finance planning experience and min 1-2 years in business partner role

Very good written and spoken English

Strong analytical skills and attention to details

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

Good commercial sense with a strong acumen of identify business drivers / analysis of P&L

Interest in Economics, Commodity and Forex Markets and awareness of Macro trends.
