The team you’ll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and Cloud RAN).

Network & Performance Engineering department creates unique connection between telco domain know-how, wide range of well-designed tools and data science capabilities. Our main target is to provide in-depth technical expertise for Radio and Cloud products with focus on 5G solutions and its performance aspects.

We are looking for passionate people who want to be part of ongoing transition to NextGen technology. Our wide spectrum of interest in mobile access systems will help you to find your spot among us and boost your competences to another level!

What you will learn and contribute to

• Become a member of our development team (for web-based application, written in C++17, which is part of pre-sales activities for a bunch of Nokia products; it supports product dimensioning down to Bill of Quantities calculations for several network elements)
• Support development team on daily basis to keep CI/CD infrastructure up and running
• Maintenance and development of Gitlab-based CI infrastructure with focus on feature branches, automation deploy, quality reports, vulnerability detection scans
• Maintenance and development/evolution of cloud deployment environment for running application
• Introduce new market standards

Your skills and experience

Are you a self-motivated and responsible student, willing to work in dynamic project oriented organization and

You have:

• Good command of English language
• Knowledge scripting languages (Bash, Python)
• Knowledge of containers (Docker) and container orchestrators (Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of version control system (Git)
• Hands on experience with Linux network stack as well as experience with CI/CD systems
• Infrastructure as a code familiarity

In our ecosystem, we use:

• Bash, Python
• Distcc
• Ccache
• Application deployed on Cloud Stack environment (Ubuntu host on VM hosting Alpine-based container in docker network)
