Data & Analytics Expert
Job Description
The main objective of the role would be sustaining and managing the optimal performance of the Enterprise Data and Analytics platform. These will include Data Warehousing, Data Ingestion/Acquisition, MDM, and other technologies in support of the comprehensive agenda for Data and Analytics. In this role, you will lead proactive analysis to ensure suitable performance of existing workloads and applications, support projects with guidance on performance enabled design, and leading/supporting Proof of Technology/exploration of newer, advanced set of holistic and interoperable set of capabilities that support the multiple business solutions across PepsiCo.
Getting down to details, here's what the role involves:
• Driving the implementation of tools/processes to ensure platform stability, agility, flexibility, performance and cost effectiveness
• Participating in identification, implementation and adoption of new technologies
• Identifying continual improvement of all solutions and exploring groundbreaking technologies and techniques, keeping abreast with industry trends
• Working closely with dynamic and diverse Europe Sector development team to deliver industrialized analytics components as new projects are identified for business success
• Supporting Global Data Warehouse users across the globe, sharing best practices
• Partnering with vendors and leveraging internal and external resources for work efforts
• Communicating complicated technical concepts to IT leadership and other stakeholders in a simple, effective manner
Qualifications/Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
• 4 + years’ of experience in technical/IT role
• 2 + years’ experience in design and build of Data & Analytics solutions
• Strong Data Warehouse and ETL experience
• Strong skills in:
• Nice to have: Data Lake exposure, Cloud experience, Snowflake, Synapse, ER/Studio, Erwin modeling tools
• Overall Solutions Delivery experience - system development lifecycle, integration, sustainability
• Ability to quickly analyze and troubleshoot performance issues and provide suggestions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent remote collaboration skills (virtual teams)
• Experience working in a fast-paced, matrix organization
