Position: Summer Trainee - CSF Software Developer / Tester

 Daily activities:

As a summer trainee in the Nokia Software CSF team you will be involved in:

• Test automation projects:
• creation of automated test scripts
• developing & maintaining test environment
• problem troubleshooting & defect management
• maintaining test documentation

Development projects:

• understanding the requirements for the given tasks
• implementation (coding)
• verification
• documentation creation

We work with:

• Programming: Python, GO, Java, Lua, Bash, React
• Cloud: Kubernetes (K8s)
• Operating systems: Linux
• Methodologies: Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), DevOps, Agile
• Next generation technologies

Our expectations:

• programming skills: Python, GO, Java, Lua, Bash, Ansible
• web programming: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, WebSocket, REST
• Linux/Unix OS environment knowledge (command line)
• problem solving and analytical skills
• min. 1-2 years of academic background
• team-player attitude
• good spoken and written English
• additional knowledge seen as a plus:
• cloud and microservices: Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, OpenStack
• open Interfaces: creating APIs for an application and consuming APIs from other applications, using RESTful computing principles
