Job Description

As a Category Management Analyst, you will be supporting the Catman department (Snacks, Beverages, and Nutrition categories) in analyzing market dynamics: tracking channels and customers sales, brands and segments, detect opportunities and threats for the category. Giving support in define action plans.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Support in define, execute and monitor category management projects: assortment optimization and planograms elaboration.
  • Market Dynamic analysis using Nielsen tool (scorecards elaboration)
  • Preparing planograms with Spaceman tool
  • Collaboration in define customers selling and category plan across categories.
  • Support In-Store Execution: Manage repository of merchandising plans and tools of the trade (Racks, Display Units)
  • Support Sales Channel Strategy: Collect historical data by the channel on a monthly basis
  • Support Customer Management: Contribute up-to-date Customer Master Data & Segment Customer database by channel and size
  • Support Order Management: Collect customer account information
  • Support Trade Spend Planning & Monitoring: Collect, summarize, and standardize trade promotion data. Input manual trade promotion data entry

  • People Responsibilities
  • Develop winning relationships with management, colleagues, and other key stakeholders within the Cluster business, ensuring the highest levels of agility and support are provided
  • Share learning and support the Cluster Sales Lead with all initiatives to improve GBS service offerings
  • Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Business administration, Economics / Commerce
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in Spanish and English language
  • Experience in working with Nielsen and Spaceman or any other planogramming tool
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs (especially high level in Excel and PowerPoint )
  • Responsiveness, ability to deliver tight deadlines
  • Ability to pull and work with large data
  • Ability to work in flexible and dynamic environments independently
  • Exceptional written and oral communication, adapting approach by situation and audience
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
