Job Description
This role must work directly with multiple L10 and L11 resources and has occasional interactions with B1, B2 levels. It covers all aspects of the EDW and Analytics capability and directly reports to the Finance / FP&A Analytics Product manager. This role is sector in nature, due to the active support of very critical international sector projects.
Performs the analysis of business data requirements and translates into an enterprise data design that satisfies local, sector and global requirementsPartners with project delivery team members to understand business requirements and associated needsHas a solid functional understanding of financial concepts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Operating Expense,….) and has worked modelling this data beforePartners with database designers to translate the data designs into physical data implementationWorks on preparing estimates for the project and helps controlling the budget
Accountabilities: All coming from L6-L8 roles such as DDM2, BIL2:
Provides input into setting data modeling and design principles, standards and best practicesDevelops data model and design plan that maximizes usability and reduces redundancyTranslates functional design into technical specificationsBuilds and tests solutionReviews data designs in order to share best practices with the data modeling and design teamAdheres to standards and best practices for reporting solutionsRemains up-to-date on the latest reporting, visualizations and OLAP capabilities in order to apply the new learnings to technical solutionsProvides comprehensive analysis using a variety of enterprise-wide applications (e.g., querying, scorecards, drill-through and drill-down capabilities)Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or equivalent experience required
3+ years of related Information Technology and business work experience (including data modelling and analytics), finance background
Experience in Food/Beverage/Manufacturing industry preferred
Expert in datawarehouses (preferable Teradata, some experience with Azure will be valuable)
SQL programming skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Solves highly complex problems
Ability to work under pressure
